I am loving this National Park Postcard in colored pencil by artist ShoshannahScribbles of Zazzle. This lovely illustration of beautiful White Sands National Park shows its stunning white gypsum dunes. Those uncommon dunes engulf 275 square miles of desert, creating the world's largest gypsum dunefield. Rising from the heart of the Tularosa Basin is one of the world's great natural wonders - the glistening white sands of New Mexico. White Sands National Park preserves a large part of the dunes, and strives to preserve a permanent habitat home to the plantlife and animals living there.
